Anyways, don't worry Teece. My brother and the fam aren't getting along as usual. So he won't be here for a long while. (Sorry about her last float, let me know if I can reimburse you.)

Don't worry about Gavin's b-day party Manda, it's ok. We're almost definitely going to see you on the 3rd. I miss you too!!

And everyone cross your fingers for Dina and Vic. They are going to be hopefully moving into a new home and I'm sooo excited for them!!

Hey everyone,

So this is the second time I am writing today...because this stupid blog erased all my stuff I wrote before. I can't believe I haven't posted in awhile, a lot of stuff has been going on. First and foremost, I want to wish Alex a Happy Birthday! Hey Teece, when is his actual birthday day? I'm so frinkin' pissed that I'm not going to be able to make his birthday party Saturday. If it wasn't for Karen moving, (and not being able to move anything because she's pregnant) I would so totally be there with bells on. Anyways, as most of you have heard by now Erik quit his job last week. But good news! He had an interview yesterday in which they called him and asked if he could go for a second interview today. Get this though, the interview is from 9:30am to 6:00pm. What the heck is he having to do all day? Well a lot is going to be going on this coming month. First of all, Melanie and Jon are moving to their own place next weekend. Karen is moving here this weekend. And we're throwing two baby showers back to back this month coming month also. Somebody shoot me...lol. And my sister-in-law Billie is going to be getting married by church in August. You know I would make a great maid of honor girl-friend. ;) Anyways, I hope you're not going insane with all of the planning!

He went to town on his birthday cake! This was his actual birthday that he did this on. There was a second showing of this on Saturday. His party went great...thank you to everyone who came!!! He loves everything that he recieved and he is keeping himself busy with all those toys! Love you guys!

Poor baby cried the whole time! We have twenty minutes on our camcorder of nothing but crying. The lady who cut his hair did a great job though..and she was soooo nice! We got a cute litte picture saying 1st Haircut, with the date and a lock of his hair. If you got kids take them to CoolCuts for Kids.

Awww..look at my itty bitty baby. Can you believe he is going to be turning 1 on Thursday? This picture actually seems like it was taken yesterday. The time has gone by soooo fast. I guess I am having the normal mommy nerves about his birthday. First and foremost, this is the day when he will be getting his first haircut. His hair is just so shaggy and cute..and I wonder..is this haircut going to drastically change his appearance? I mean, is it time to say that he is a big boy now...and not a baby? *Sigh* Issues I tell you. Also, considering this is my first baby birthday party..I am praying everything goes well on Saturday. I hope the weather is perfect..and I'm hoping everyone likes chili dogs. Ok, we will be taking a ton of pictures of Gavin getting his haircut...so I will be posting those around Friday. Hey you guys!
Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend! Mine was pretty good. I am now addicted to fishing. I went fishing on Sunday around midnite with Erik, Melanie, Jon, and Matt. And I want everyone to know that I caught the first and biggest fish of the night. Erik says it's a Gar fish. Melanie took a pic of the actual fish, so I'll post it on here sometime soon. But to give everyone an idea of what the fish looks like, I'm posting a pic I found on the net. Anyways, it was really ugly, had a mouth like an alligator almost. Eck! So now I'm ready to go fishing again. It was so much fun!

Ok, so a long long time ago, I remember having a coversation with my two sisters. We were talking about how old we would be if this happened and if that happened. And I remember myseld saying.. "Do you know that I will be 24 when Chase graduates?"
God, it seemed so old when I was saying this. But today is the day, my cousin Chase who I remember with corkscrew blonde curls and barely crawling is graduating today. *Sigh*. Life is going by so fast.

So anyways, I watched this movie last night with Erik. It's called Heat with Al Pacino and Robert Deniro. It's a 90's movie that we just happen to catch at the right time last night. Ok, so it was good. Poor Erik had to explain almost everything that was going on for me to understand. I was very disappointed by the ending...but I'll keep it hush hush in case anyone plans on renting it.

Ok, so now my list of things to do today.

-Send out invitations (I can't believe I haven't done that yet.)
-Do Gavin's laundry.
-clean out bedroom closet.
-watch Oprah (ok, that's a given)
-cook dinner
-watch finale of American Idol

Welcome everyone to my new blog!

As all of my family and friends know by now, I am a huge fan of the Dave Matthew's Band. So what better way but to name my new blog after his own words.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was pretty good. Got to see my baby boy go swimming for the first time ever Sunday! That was cool. And I got to go to the Dallas Desperados game with my sister Karen and sweety-pie Erik. We kicked Philadelphia Soul butt. Not to mention that the free beer and nice ass suite was very comforting during our time of triumph.

I really hope this week coming up is going to be a good one. I need to get Gavin's birthday party invitations sent out. Shoot! Why can't I decide on a theme already? I went and bought some really cute Sesame Street invitations yesterday. But now my mom is like "I thought you were going to do that blue dog theme." And considering it is his very first birthday, it has to be perfect. I better figure out something before Erik kills me. Any suggestions?

I am so motivated today. Erik told me that he would start walking around the neighborhood with me everyday. Will we end up killing each other? The heat outside will only tell...he he.
